Section 1: Light | Love | Unity—The Trinity of Enlightenment
Light, Love, and Unity is your go-to tool and your weapon of choice in everything you do and think. If what you do and think does not match up with Light, Love, and Unity, then it’s worth having another look to examine it deeper.
If the light of Light, Love, and Unity is too strong for what’s in front of them, then I would advise you to not internalize it or make it yours. If what’s in front of this powerful filter is already on the inside of you, then you have identified a dark spot—some internal darkness, and at the bottom of that darkness, there is light trapped. Release it!
This tool serves as a rigorous filter through which all thoughts, systems, and beliefs are critically examined, ensuring that our engagement—both on our transformative personal path and with the world at large—remains pure and aligned with the highest ideals of our creed.
Every thought I have had, every action I have undertaken, and every concept or claim I have come in contact with since 2001 is filtered through this power tool. By doing this, by having this understanding that is streamed behind these words, I have discovered and filtered out more internal confusion and darkness than I could possibly count.
This is, of course, not done over a weekend or a short period of time. The deeper understanding of Light, Love, and Unity as a tool is not a crash course one can take and then be done with. This is going to become a part of your being, if you keep at it, and not something you do. You will become Light, Love, and Unity—if you choose to. And when you do, you will eventually become shades of white, not grey.
I. Light: The Relentless Pursuit of Truth
Definition: Light represents the relentless pursuit of clarity, understanding, and enlightenment, piercing through the fog of misinformation and the myriad distortions clouding our collective perceptions.
It serves as our guide, illuminating the path to genuine understanding and discernment. However, not all that appears as ‘light’ is truly illuminative; sometimes, what is portrayed as light can actually be ‘muted light’—a tainted semblance that misleads rather than clarifies. Muted light masquerades as truth but actually distorts it, obscuring the path to genuine enlightenment.
Contrasting Darkness: In the context of light, it’s important to recognize the role of darkness. Darkness, in its pure form, is not malevolent but a natural state that provides the necessary contrast for light to shine. It is the canvas against which light reveals its brilliance.
However, this ‘pure dark’ can become ‘muted dark’ when it is used not just for contrast but for concealment of truth. Muted dark is darkness tainted by deception, where shadows are not used for contrast but for the concealment of truths, complicating our quest for clarity.
Vigilance: When presented with new perspectives or information—within or without—ask: “Does this illuminate areas I haven’t considered, or does it merely reinforce comfortable, familiar notions under the guise of enlightenment?”
Empowerment: Evaluate if the knowledge or wisdom uncovered within or discovered without uplifts and liberates, or subtly fosters dependency, dimming the true potential of enlightenment.
Integrity: Assess the authenticity of knowledge and messages encountered. Is there consistency and truth, or are there hints of deceit disguised as clarity?
Reflection on Light and Darkness: As TULWA Philosophy followers, our commitment is to a path that demands rigor and resilience.
Light challenges us to confront uncomfortable truths, to transcend our limitations, and to transmute the darkness within into illuminating wisdom. Understanding both muted light and muted dark enhances our ability to discern true light from deceptive illumination, guiding us in our pursuit of truth.
II. Love: The Binding Force of Compassion
Definition: Love is the connective energy that fills and transcends our individual existence, binding us through threads of compassion and empathy.
This active force seeks to dissolve barriers and heal divisions, complementing Light as a grounding and fortifying presence.
To truly harness the power of Love, we must first discover it within ourselves; only then can it be genuinely recognized and projected outward.
Depth: Reflect on interactions: “Do I foster profound connections, within and without, or do I settle for surface-level engagements?”
Sacrifice: “Do my actions reflect a willingness to put aside personal desires for the greater good?”
Universal Care: Evaluate how inclusive and nurturing your approach to life is towards all beings, starting with yourself.
III. Unity: The Strength of Interconnected Existence
Definition: Unity acknowledges the profound interconnectedness of all existence, with each choice and action echoing across the cosmos.
To truly grasp Unity, we must first achieve it within ourselves. If we are divided within our own mind and core, recognizing true unity externally becomes challenging, and we risk succumbing to ‘us versus them’ dynamics disguised as ‘we.’
Synergy: Evaluate both internal and external engagements: “Do they promote mutual benefit and enhance true unity, or lead to isolation and unhealthy divisions of ‘us and them’?”
Respect: Reflect on whether every voice, both within and without, is recognized or if some are overlooked or suppressed. We cannot deal with what we do not acknowledge.
Collective Evolution: Consider if your inner alignment and outer actions contribute to a mindset that embodies UBUNTU: “I am because you are,” ensuring that your personal advancement does not come at the expense of others.
Integration with the Four Lenses
To fully embody the principles of Light | Love | Unity, we view them through the four lenses of the TULWA Philosophy:
Philosopher’s Lens: Examines how Light, Love, and Unity serve as foundational truths and encourages deep intellectual and spiritual exploration.
Healer’s Lens: Focuses on how these principles can heal and transform both the self and others, fostering compassion and empathy.
Light Warrior’s Lens: Applies these principles in action, promoting resilience and the living embodiment of the TULWA Philosophy.
Unified Light Warrior’s Lens: Strives for ultimate alignment with these principles, achieving deep spiritual unity and enlightenment.
Conclusion
The First Filter of Light | Love | Unity serves both as a set of guiding principles and as a powerful tool for profound self-discovery and transformation.
It rigorously challenges us to confront and illuminate both the muted light and muted darkness within ourselves—a darkness that often obscures the very light we seek to liberate, and a muted light that can mislead us away from true inner enlightenment.
Our journey involves a meticulous process of exploring this internal spectrum of light and shadow, understanding its origins and impacts, systematically dismantling its hold over us, and ultimately freeing the light intertwined within.
As we undertake this introspective battle, these filters also protect us against external influences that could reintroduce or substitute old shadows with new forms of muted light and darkness.
This dual function ensures that our quest to break free from inner darkness remains aligned with a clear trajectory towards light.
By steadfastly applying this base filter to both our internal exploration and our engagement with the world, we ensure that our path remains true—not just clearing the old but vigilantly protecting against new distortions.
This is how we use our filters to nurture our inner light, promoting a cycle of continuous personal growth and enlightenment. We remain vigilant, ever aware that the light we foster is not obscured by the deceptive glow of muted light nor the concealing shadows of muted dark.
Section 2: Universal Interconnectedness—The Interwoven Path
To Be Interconnected
Universal Interconnectedness, the second filter, expands our consciousness beyond the self and into the cosmos, exploring the myriad threads that bind us, and uncovering the strength and wisdom in our collective tapestry.
This philosophical approach is designed to comprehend and honor the intricate and interdependent nature of existence, grounded in six fundamental principles that foster profound respect for the variety, harmony, and accountability found in the universe:
I. Interconnectedness
Everything in existence is connected and interdependent, encompassing the observable universe, the multiverses and the hidden fabric of inter-dimensional planes.
Our actions resonate far beyond our immediate environment, impacting the cosmos in ways beyond our current understanding.
Reflect on the ripple effects of your actions: Consider how even your thoughts and emotions can influence the interconnected web of life. Ask yourself, “In what ways do I contribute positively to the interconnectedness of all beings?
Am I aware of the impacts of my actions on others and the universal environment?” By acknowledging your part in this cosmic tapestry, you encourage a sense of responsibility and a commitment to harmonious living.
II. Multidimensionality
The universe’s vast complexity includes layers both seen and unseen. Embracing its multidimensionality means acknowledging that our current perception is just one facet of a multifaceted truth, urging us to explore and remain open to various dimensions of existence.
Embrace a mindset that recognizes multiple layers of reality: Cultivate curiosity about perspectives that differ from your current view, triggering and expanding your cosmic self. Reflect on questions such as, “How can understanding different dimensions of existence enrich my perception of reality?
Do I allow my consciousness to explore beyond the tangible?” This practice helps deepen your appreciation of the universe’s complexity and your own capacity to perceive more than what is immediately visible.
III. Diversity
The universe’s richness is reflected in its diversity. Each being’s unique perspective and role enrich the whole. Recognizing and valuing this diversity helps us build an inclusive existence where all life forms can thrive.
Respecting diversity does not mean that you have to agree with every aspect of it, but it is necessary to respect it.
Value the diversity of life and expressions of consciousness: Regularly challenge yourself to step outside your cultural, ideological, and personal comfort zones to explore the rich variety of the world. Consider, “How do I react to differences?
Do I embrace diversity as a teacher, or am I afraid of the unknown?” Learning to appreciate diversity can enhance your understanding of interconnectedness, showing you how each unique aspect contributes to the whole.
IV. Balance
Achieving harmony within and between various forces is crucial. This balance supports the flourishing of life in all its forms, guided by the principles laid out in the TULWA Creed.
Seek harmony within yourself and in your interactions with the known and unknown world: Reflect on areas of your life where there may be excess or deficiency and consider ways to create more balance. Questions like, “Where is there imbalance in my thoughts, actions, or connections?
How can I foster equilibrium?” can guide you. This practice not only benefits your personal well-being, but it also supports the broader cosmic ecosystem in achieving sustainable harmony.
V. Evolution
Recognizing the universe’s constant evolution encourages us to remain adaptable and open to new insights, particularly as we come to understand ourselves as central to our perceptions of the universe.
Take personal responsibility for your impact on the world: Regularly assess how your actions align with your values of interconnectedness and sustainability. Questions like, “What can I do today to make a positive impact?
How do my choices reflect my understanding of universal interconnectedness?” can inspire more conscious living.
VI. Responsibility
We bear a collective responsibility to act in ways that enhance the well-being of all beings. This ethical mandate calls us to be mindful of our impact, advocating for a just and compassionate world and a friendly universe.
Cultivate a deeper understanding of our collective responsibility to steward the well-being of all life forms and the planet as a whole:
Reflect on questions like, “How can my actions and choices positively contribute to building a more just, compassionate, and harmonious world?”
Integration with the Four Lenses
To fully embody the principles of Universal Interconnectedness, we view them through the four lenses of the TULWA Philosophy:
Philosopher’s Lens: Examines the underlying interconnectedness of all existence and encourages deep intellectual and spiritual exploration of these connections.
Healer’s Lens: Focuses on healing the rifts within and without, promoting harmony and balance through understanding and compassion.
Light Warrior’s Lens: Applies the understanding of interconnectedness to protect and nurture the collective well-being, embodying the principles in action.
Unified Light Warrior’s Lens: Strives for ultimate unity and alignment with these principles, achieving deep spiritual interconnectedness and enlightenment.
Conclusion
The Universal Interconnectedness filter expands our awareness beyond the individual, inviting us to recognize the profound web of connections that binds all of existence.
By embracing the principles of Interconnectedness, Multidimensionality, Diversity, Balance, Evolution, and Responsibility, we cultivate a deep reverence for the intricate and interdependent nature of the cosmos.
As we embody these values, we become empowered to make choices that promote harmony, sustainability, and the collective well-being of all beings.
The Universal Interconnectedness filter empowers us to transcend the limited perspective of the self, urging us to see our actions and roles as integral threads in the tapestry of life.
Through this expanded consciousness, we find the inspiration and motivation to live in service of the greater good, contributing to a world more aligned with the TULWA ideals of Light, Love, and Unity.
By honoring the diversity and balance inherent in the universe, we forge a path of personal and collective enlightenment, strengthening the bonds that unite us all.
Section 3: The TULWA Creed—Manifesto of the TULWA Philosophy
The Creed
Upon the intricate foundation established by the Light | Love | Unity: Trinity of Enlightenment and enriched through the expansive principles of Universal Interconnectedness: The Interwoven Path, we ascend to the pinnacle of our philosophical journey: The TULWA Creed.
The TULWA Creed serves as both a manifesto and a guiding light, declaring the core principles that define and drive those who seek to follow the TULWA Philosophy. It encapsulates our commitment to living these truths, illustrating the creed’s role in guiding individual paths and in forging a universal understanding toward inner enlightenment and transformation.
The TULWA Creed is principles that I live by on a daily basis. I have not done this since my own awakening in 2001—this has taken time to develop. The words that you will read below are just meek descriptions of deeper streams of consciousness that should eventually flow within you.
You will fail at this, at upholding these principles, and so have I. But when you really want to transform, to defragment yourself in order to rebuild, then failing is a way to test your inner knowledge and understanding of yourself.
No matter what we are developing and creating, it needs to be battlefield tested, in order to see if it will hold up against the fabric of existence. During my tours to the security zone in South Lebanon, as a UN Peacekeeping soldier, the concept of familiarization, testing and training, has been crucial.
You cannot know to the fullest extent if the weapon or tool you have been given works properly without testing it first. It might look complete and functional, but when you start to use it, to push it, to engage with it, you might discover that it needs a bit more work.
This goes for plans of reinforcement of positions, the armored personnel carriers we operated on, the personal weapons and equipment we were given, or the everyday life inside the multinational camp where we lived. All these things, this new environment and equipment need to be engaged with, tested, and approved when we first rotated down to the Middle East in order to perform our duties as peacekeeping soldiers.
As a Light Warrior, whether you come at it from the perspective of a Philosopher or Healer, you are a peacekeeper within your own world and being, so you too need to be battle-tested, and so does your knowledge, insight, and the sum total of your transformative self. To fail is the path to not fail. Without falling, we cannot stand up in a believable way.
The TULWA Creed is our railing that we hold onto when rising up, when standing tall within. It’s our creed that we seek to live by; it’s our personal equipment that will keep us aligned with our highest goals and aims—to live a better life than we did before because we choose to!
I. Personal Transformation and Growth
We recognize that profound societal change is rooted in personal transformation. We commit to continuous self-awareness and self-improvement, striving to embody the highest principles of Light, Love, and Unity in every action and thought.
Application: Relentlessly pursuing our personal evolution, we share our journey and insights to inspire and catalyze change in others, promoting a cycle of personal growth and unified uplift by sharing our insights—not preaching.
II. Cultivating Mindfulness and Compassion
Mindfulness and compassion form the cornerstone of our interactions with the world. We embrace these virtues to foster inner peace and understanding across all divides – within and without.
Application: Practicing deep listening and empathetic engagement in every interaction, we seek to create spaces where understanding and kindness are the norms.
III. Embracing the Transformation of Darkness into Light
We acknowledge the coexistence of light and darkness within us. By confronting and understanding our shadows—both muted and pure—we transform them into sources of strength and enlightenment.
Application: Engaging in introspective practices, we bring our darker aspects into the light, converting them into wisdom and power, while ensuring we do not fall prey to the deceptions of muted light.
IV. Promoting Peace, Harmony, and Unity
Guided by the principle of interconnectedness, we strive for a world where peace, harmony, and unity are tangible realities, not mere ideals.
Application: Actively dismantling barriers and building bridges, within and without, we aim to foster environments where all can thrive.
V. Living Authentically and Courageously
Authenticity and courage guide us to challenge outdated systems and beliefs. We encourage living true to oneself and empowering others to do the same.
Application: Speaking our truth courageously, even when inconvenient or unpopular, we support others in finding and expressing their authentic selves.
VI. Engaging in Acts of Kindness and Sustainability
Committed to kindness and sustainable living, we design our actions to enhance the well-being of our planet and all its inhabitants.
Application: Living by example, we adopt sustainable practices that can serve as a model for others, promoting responsibility in our day-to-day choices. We believe in the power of individual action to inspire change, respecting each person’s journey and the pace at which they embrace these practices.
VII. Seeking Inspiration and Using Respectful Strategies
Drawing inspiration from higher interdimensional sources, we employ peaceful, respectful strategies to enact change.
Application: Trusting our intuition and seeking collaboration with others, we harmoniously respect diverse views and approaches while staying true to our own path.
VIII. Respecting Our Ancestors and the Past
We honor our ancestors by learning from their wisdom and improving upon their foundations.
Application: Learning from the lessons of the past, good and bad, we strive to forge a fairer and more enlightened future.
IX. Embodying the Values and Principles of TULWA
Our steadfast commitment to the TULWA values, and the stream of consciousness behind it, ensures our actions continuously align with these principles, demonstrating their transformative power in real life.
Application: Every aspect of our lives reflects the integrity, respect, and proactive spirit of those who follow the TULWA Philosophy, serving as a living testament to the efficacy of our Creed.
Integration with the Four Lenses
To fully embody the principles of the TULWA Creed, we view them through the four lenses of the TULWA Philosophy:
Philosopher’s Lens: Looks into the intellectual and spiritual aspects of the Creed, encouraging deep thought and internalization of its principles.
Healer’s Lens: Focuses on how the Creed’s principles can heal and transform both the self and others, fostering compassion and empathy.
Light Warrior’s Lens: Applies the Creed’s principles in active life, promoting resilience and living the TULWA Philosophy.
Unified Light Warrior’s Lens: Strives for ultimate alignment with the Creed, achieving deep spiritual unity and enlightenment.
Conclusion
The principles of The TULWA Creed create a story of empowerment, encouraging each person to discover the great strength hidden within their own light, whether it is shadowed by darkness or simply dormant. This journey is both a personal quest and a collective rise against the dark veils that have long dimmed our shared brightness.
Until I started developing this creed in 2018, I did not have a set of written principles to live by, not in a structured form like this. But the stream of consciousness that colors the TULWA Creed is the same palette that has been coloring me since 2001. I seek to uphold the core principles of this creed every day, as I both see and feel that this is the best everyday transformational focus I can have for myself.
It is good to have something written down that you can glance at as you walk by, so maybe writing these down or printing them can be a good idea. It’s all about self-programming, and to do that, we need to engage with what we want to program.
As we live by these principles, we find comfort in our unity and are bound together by a shared commitment to the challenging and rewarding path of inner transformation. This creed is just the beginning of a wider universe of understanding, an introduction to the complex dance of Light, Love, Unity, and Universal Interconnectedness that connects all life.
As we perfect our true selves and shine brightly, we build the foundations for a world transformed by the vision of enlightened souls – you, me, we.
